Due to technology improvements and outdated technology restrictions we have had to make the difficult decision to discontinue free support for any email issues. This is because the email system (POP/IMAP) is very old and is no longer supported by the software programmers.
After 31st Dec 2018, we will cease free support for any email issues related to your web hosting account. We will continue to host and support your website as normal.
The email technology that is currently supplied free with your web hosting is outdated and like all older technologies isn’t very efficient for your business. We won’t be switching off or deleting the email service, however, the cost for any support after this date will be $190 + GST hourly (billed every 15 mins). This support will be limited to 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday only.
To ensure that your business has a reliable and functional email system, we strongly suggest moving your emails over to a more solid solution called Office 365. This solution allows you to manage emails more effectively and is backed by Microsoft’s great technology and services.
